Attention all members of the Gay Straight Alliance: Meeting Wednesday! Get ready to paint!                12/3

 

All girls interested in being a part of the “Storm Sistas”, there is an important meeting Tuesday, December 2nd at 2:20 in the choir room.  We want to get our t-shirts as quickly as possible, so please make sure that you attend.  If you can’t make it, have a friend write down your name, shirt size and nickname you would like to have put on the back.  You may also find Kim Mitchell or McKenzie Morris by the end of the day Wednesday.  The boys already have the storm soldiers underway, so we need to get things going.                                      12/2

 

There will be a special Multicultural Club Meeting on Friday from 2:30-3:30 in Room B102. We’ll begin making plans for the Multicultural Day, Martin Luther King Day and the Talent Show. See you there!      12/5

 

Career Center

 

Are you worried about how to pay for college? How to complete the FAFSA? What happens when you complete the FAFSA? If so, you are invited to attend an all district Financial Aid Information night on Thursday Dec. 4th at 7 pm in the Bellingham High School Auditorium.  A representative from WWU will be there to answer your questions! (you do not need to be attending WWU to attend; the info is the same for all colleges!)                                                                                                                                                           12/3

Seniors hoping to attend a 4 year college next year need to have taken the SAT or ACT for entrance in the Fall of 2009.  The deadline for registering for the last set of these tests is upon us! To take the SAT in January you must register by Dec.3rd! To take the ACT you need to register by Jan. 6th. Attention 9th Graders:   Interested in becoming a part of the AVID program next semester?  Pick up a brochure and an application from Mr. Johnson in the Bay House Counseling Office or Mrs. Ericksen in C203.  Applications are also available on the school website under the Academics/ AVID drop down menus.  Applications are due Friday, Dec. 5.  AVID is a program designed to help motivated students in the middle succeed in high school and enroll in college.                                                                                                12/5

 

Students – good news!! If you are still interested in attending the Pre-Law Student Leadership Conference on December 6th, you can turn in your applications through December 2nd.
